Sideburn hair transplant is a cosmetic surgery done to restore hair on both sides of the face where growth is thin, blotchy, or missing overall. This is mainly done to give the beard a thicker shape, to hide acne scars or any kind of scarring.
This transplant is similar in method to transplant surgery and can cause the growth of sideburns that can be shaved off just like other facial hair. Its goal can range from full restoration to slightly filling a limited area. Sideburn transplant using FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) does not require incisions, and therefore leaves no linear scars.
